Yes, Lord_Ackbar! I made a little image from a big squid image, uploaded it, then linked to it using the insert image function. If you hit '' quote" on my post then the html code will be revealed. Each little squid will start with [ img] and end with [ /img] copy that string and then paste it, and you should be able to link to the little image I uploaded, and your posts will swim along nicely
